MyMusic

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 8, 2026

In short: MyMusic doesn't collect any data about you. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and the developer doesn't receive any information about how you use the app.

Your music and your library

The music you add, its tags and artwork, and your playlists are saved in the MyMusic folder of your own iCloud Drive. They're stored and synced by Apple under your Apple Account, as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer has no access to them.

Settings, the equalizer, the last track you played and the music kept on the device are stored only on the device itself.

Online tag search

Only when you use Find Tags Online, MyMusic sends the artist and album names you're looking for to:

These requests contain only the search terms and the app name and version, plus a contact address of the developer that MusicBrainz asks every app to include. They don't contain your name, your Apple Account or any identifier. As with any internet connection, these services can see your device's IP address.

Children

MyMusic doesn't collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
